Why The Movie Was Made: Alison Parker was quoted “I decided to produce the film Jake & Jasper because I was tired of seeing ferrets portrayed in negative ways in the media. Ferrets are very smart, funny and loving creatures and I could not tell you one movie out there that has shown this yet. So I decided I wanted to make a film about a boy and his ferret, and show what a positive effect the ferret would have on his life.  I teamed up with writer David B. Beleznay, and the rest is ferret history!”

GQ’s 5 Page Interview with Director, Uwe Boll

GQ’s 5 Page Interview with Director, Uwe Boll

“There’s no such thing as bad publicity” is a paraphrase of a famous witty aphorism quoted by Oscar Wilde. Director Uwe Boll embraced that concept when promoting his films. A lot of the time, Uwe’s movies were reviewed by his critics before the critics actually saw his film.  Uwe felt he needed to react and he did. Uwe would approach all his critics head on. He spoke his mind regardless of the consequences. Wanstrom & Assoc. opened the doors for Uwe Boll to communicate his rebuttals world-wide.

Usually his critics would start their review with  the “The Worst Director” in their opening comments.

There are limits of what Wanstrom & Assoc. will do for a client.

1968: TUNNEL RATS was filmed in the jungles of South Africa posing as Vietnam. One of the many hazards of filming in the jungle involved poisonous insects, snakes and man-eating animals. There are limits to what Wanstrom & Assoc. will do for their clients. Performing as an unit publicist on a movie that is set in a jungle filled with poisonous snakes & man-eating animals is NOT one of them. In this particular instance Wanstrom & Assoc. was happy to work as unit publicist from a separate continent.
