GQ’s 5 Page Interview with Director, Uwe Boll
“There’s no such thing as bad publicity” is a paraphrase of a famous witty aphorism quoted by Oscar Wilde. Director Uwe Boll embraced that concept when promoting his films. A lot of the time, Uwe’s movies were reviewed by his critics before the critics actually saw his film. Uwe felt he needed to react and he did. Uwe would approach all his critics head on. He spoke his mind regardless of the consequences. Wanstrom & Assoc. opened the doors for Uwe Boll to communicate his rebuttals world-wide.
Usually his critics would start their review with the “The Worst Director” in their opening comments. GQ followed that approach to launched their interview. Followed by “Let’s get this part out of the way. Uwe Boll is not the worst director in Hollywood nor is he the antichrist.
